Proposal for the Transformation

  • Urban agriculture

  • Promote multifunctional and divers urban centres, including services, infrastructure, food production etc.

  • Promote community owned space

  • participatory urban planning

  • Stop urban sprawl!

Vision

  • setting resource reduction goals for cities

Open research questions

  • How much living space and outdoor space is necessary per person?

  • How much does the quality of a room influence the necessary space quantity?
