Anmeldung fur GROWL - Degrowth Fortbildung

GROWL- Living Degrowth is a pan-European partnership with 9 partners project designed to form a education network for degrowth. Academics, practitioners at the grass-roots level, researchers and political activists, among others, form a part of this network that aims at a plural and diverse skill and knowledge exchange, to support a major transition towards degrowth and a sustainable and fulfilling society. GROWL is supported by the Grundtvig fund for Learning Partnerships of the EU.

You want to be part of this degrowth network, want to give trainings on degrowth within your university, your village, your city, among friends, in your youth club or working place or learn more about degrowth? You want to contribute with your knowlegde and develop modules and course materials together with the other people from the network?

Then you have the chance to apply for the 8 upcoming GROWL courses within the next year via Transition Town Witzenhausen.

For the course from Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie and Wachstumswende, which takes place around the Fourth International Conference on Degrowth for Ecological Sustainability and Social Equity
from 02.9.14- 11.9.14 as well as for the course on solidarity economy in Thessaloniki, from 01.10.14-06.10.14 the inscription closes on the 31th of July, the inscription for the other courses closes end of August.

All courses provide childcare, if there is an interest for it.

Travelling requires from Transition Witzenhausen:

- Preferable living in Witzenhausen or the region between Kassel and Göttingen or having a link to this region
- Speaking and understanding English as course language at least on Level B1
- Presentation of the course content within a month after the course as public event in Witzenhausen
- Background knowledge and experience in theory and/or practice about Degrowth or related topics
(solidarity economy, organic agriculture, sustainable living, ecological building among others)
- interest to develop further events around the degrowth topic in together with Transition Witzenhausen
